Committee Meeting Summary - July 11 2020

T minus 43 days to Planet Music Camp and the excitement is mounting! On the agenda for sure are:

• Ubi Caritas (opening and closing)
• Daily prayer message from the Deans
• Holy Motion led by Ruth Anne
• Crafts
• Bible Study
• Photo Scavenger Hunt
• Banjo Workshop
• Relaxation
• Basic Theory and Ear Training
• Social Stitching (for all the crocheters, knitters, and other crafty people)
• How to Prepare a Score for Rehearsal
• Classical Guitar
• Worship
• Storytime
• Campfire
• ‘Live’ Band Karaoke
• Coffee House/Variety Night
• Hangouts for different groups
• Tuck – yes there will be tuck!

There might be a few other things that we are still finalizing.

Planet Music Camp will be active from Ubi Caritas on Sunday August 23 at 7:00 pm EDT to the Daily Prayer Message, Sunday August 30 at 6:30 am EDT. (The prayer message will be on You Tube and you can see it later – you don’t have to get up at 6:30!!)

The finished schedule should be ready soon. We kept most activities in the early morning, lunch time or evening in case you have a day job. 

We will use 4 platforms in various ways:

• Zoom for the live events and some pre-recorded things;
• You Tube for most pre-recorded events (with live texting for some You Tube events)
  • These will be on a private You Tube channel
• Discord for Hangouts, and communication about events
• Good old email 

We have a couple of things to remind you about:

• Please use your real name on the platforms, rather than a screen name or nickname. There will be a waiting room on Zoom, and we won’t let you in if we don’t know who you are. 
• If you are inviting a friend, please let us know so we will recognize the name.
