The board will use the following process to select vendors for items sold in the PMC Merchandise Shop.
The intention of this policy is to ensure that PMC Merch is maintaned at a quality and price that campers have come to expect while keeping a record of due diligence, avoiding any conflict of interest that may arise, and to ensure that
fair and equitable labour practices are maintained. This process may be used to reevaluate items and/or vendors at the discretion of the Merchandise Coordinator or by decision by the Board.
It is the policy of the PMC board to not accept unsolicited offers of merchandise for the merch shop. Campers who are interested in selling their own goods are invited to read the “Camper Private Sale Policy”.
The board reserves the right to review and approve the sale of any goods sold by one or more campers directly to other campers for the duration of PMC, at any time. Campers selling goods are strongly encouraged to donate a portion of their proceeds on goods sold to the Alison Stewart Patterson Fund or General Fund as a fundraising effort
to keep PMC alive and thriving. In the event that the board determines that this privilege is being abused, the board reserves the right to stop the sale of any goods by a camper during PMC, at any time.
